In WOTLK, bosses in ICC [Icecrown Citadel] cause lots of problems such as Lord Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper  and The Lich King… Now Azeroth’s Champions (players) will have to think about the strategy for new and much harder boss, Deathwing the Destroyer.

With the world in chaos, many islanders scattered from the home to the sea. Lots of these scattered islanders find themselves shipwreck  upon the lost isle, lock in battles with the human. But finally, they find themselves new allies in the Horde. But not only the Horde has new allies, the Ancient Alliance ( Nightelves ) bring the race of Worgen to join the Alliance

Game Introduction: Kingsage Webgame

Over the past few months, webgames had become popular. They don't demand a strong computer so everyone can play them. Beside flash games and social networks games, there are literally thousands of webgames. You can become anyone depending on the game, you can become an emperor, a warrior, worker, gladiator or even a hobo. This time I'll show you one of my favorite games: Kings Age.

Login Screen

Kings Age is powered by Gameforge, the famous German MMO game company. It's available in many languages, English, German, Spanish, Japanese,... and Vietnamese.
You are an emperor, you will run the kingdom by building houses, castles, barracks and then when you're strong enough, you will raid or conquer other kingdoms. However, it's not just that simple since you'll have to race with others or you'll be undone.

Main interface

It's a real-time strategy game, so you have the resources, then you choose something to construct, and then you can log out and do something else while waiting the buildings to be constructed.
There are 3 main resources in this game: Stone, Wood and Ore
Here are some constructions and their effects when you upgrade them:
_ Castle: your main building, the higher level it is, the faster you construct other buildings.
_ Quarry, Sawmill, Ore mine: these are places to harvest resources, so you will need to upgrade them to gain resources faster (tip: Buildings need a lot of stone, so build Quarry first, and then Ore mine, since it takes lots of Ore to produce an army)
_ Warehouse: this is where you keep your resources
_ Hideout: your resources are hidden here so they can't be raided
_ Miller: You will need lots of worker and soldiers, you will have to upgrade Miller to increase the kingdom's population
_ Barracks: wars start here!
_ Town wall: increase town's defense

And I'll leave the rest for you to explore for yourself

You can also create or join in an alliance, which will increase your chance to survive and win the war.
That is pretty much the basic things you should know, there is an in-game help section in case you need more help.

Happy conquering... or be conquered.

Starcraft 2 Cinematic trailer

Video source: Youtube

If you have played Starcraft before, you will surely know the most basic unit of terran force: Marine.
It's only takes about 10-20 secs to build a Marine, but have you ever wonder how are they built?
All these times we've missed the magic of the terran's futuristic technology, well, this video is going to show you what you've been missing!
The marines are cheap to build, with average damage and armor, they can be used to attack the enemy at the beginning of the game or protect the base, especially from the vast waves of zerglings or zealots.
He is the unit that always appears on the front-line of the battles. With the rapid-fire C-14 rifle and a cigarette in his mouth (he always smokes), he made up the symbol of the terran force that no one can forget.
Although he is equipped with heavy armor suits that allow humans to survive in space , he has very short life (maybe because of lung cancer, he smokes too much :D)

Anyway, spending 50 minerals to build him is a good option at the beginning.

Game Review: Transformers: War for Cybertron

Over the past 26 years, Transformers has been famous in the entertainment industry. It appears in comic books, movies, toys, and now computer game.
Although there have been some games about Transformers (and they received negative reviews for bad graphic engine, poor performance), Transformers: War for Cybertron is the new member of Transformers family that received positive reviews and is recommended by many gamers.

War for Cybertron is really expected by many fans of the transformers series as it released its trailer. High Moon studio’s developers have showed the gamers their best. With third-person shooting style, combining with racing and the “transforming” ability of the characters, the game is really worth the expectations of transformers fans. War for Cybertron is the best “Transformers” game of all time.

Introducing the last days of the war between Autobot and Decepticon on Cybertron, the game starts. High Moon studio tells the story with a good visual style, the cut scenes are arranged well and the good viewing angle make the cut scenes more informative and not too long.

If in normal standards, the plot probably is the factor that lead the game to success. But suprisingly, High Moon studio enriched the gameplay with materials of an action game instead of just shooting and running. The game’s terrain is really impressive and requires you to have a good ability to analyze the situations as you can defeat someone or be defeated in just a matter of seconds.

There is a co-op mode in single player - campaign,  so you can get supports from your friend in order to complete the mission. You will be amazed by the transforming ability of the characters as they are brand new, even an experienced gamer can be surprised.

The game still have minor bugs, the multiplayer mode only support 10 players at a time, the AI-controlled robots sometimes are too weak or too strong, making the game unbalanced.
However, War for Cybertron is worth the $60 you have paid, with many hours playing, a challenging tournament mode. Transformers: War for Cybertron will be a good game this summer.

Game Review: StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty

The launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty on July 27th was a successful one for Blizzard Entertainment. Within 24 hours Blizzard sold 1 million copies, and within 48 hours that total climbed to 1.5 million copies.
Not only is the game the best selling PC game of the year, but it’s also the fastest selling strategy game of all time.

Starcraft 2 fisrt attracts many players only with its loading screen, with Jim Raynor, the main character of  this version. To be able to play Starcraft 2, you will need to sign in to Battle.net 2, your activities, achievements in game will be stored into your profile page. Battle.net 2 also offers you the ability to create groups, connect with your friends and better multiplayer mode.

Loading screen
With the following system, you can play the game at Ultra graphic setting, but its not going to run smoothly in big-scaled battles.
CPU:  Core i3 2.93GHz
RAM:  4096MB DDR3
VGA: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT (1 GB VRAM)

Basically, the gameplay is pretty similar to the older version, so you won’t have problem getting used to it. While playing, you’ll see cut scenes or conversations between the characters, the face of the characters will appear as they talk. The graphic engine has been upgraded so these cut scenes wil be more interesting to watch.

Hyperion ship

After completing a mission, Jim Raynor (you) will return to the Hyperion ship. This is where you can see your battle results and achivements, and upgrading your technology (for exaple, buildings, units’ skills)
With the whole new Battle.net 2, you’ll be able to find players, invite your friends into battles. The multiplayer performance is satisfying as you can play smoothly with other players.

We will update more information about the game soon.
